My name is Bathromew Mukuta, and I was born in Mwinilunga district, located in the northwestern province of Zambia, on August 22nd, 2002. I come from a family of six: three boys and three girls, with me being the youngest. Unfortunately, both my parents passed away when I was 2 and 3 years old.
I began my education in my hometown, attending grades 1 to 5 there. Later, I moved to Solwezi and continued my schooling from grades 6 to 7 at Kimasala Primary School. During my second term, I relocated to Kalumbila district to complete my grade 7 exams.
In 2015, I received a scholarship to continue my education at Sentinel Kalumbila, a mine school. This opportunity was granted to students without both parents who couldn't afford to pay for their education. From grades 8 to 10, I continued my studies at Sentinel Kalumbila before being transferred to Sentinel Kabitaka, the sister school, from 2019 to 2020, when I graduated.
Throughout my high school years, I participated in various sports to explore my passions. It wasn't until 2019 that I discovered my true passion: rowing. Rowing has become more than just a sport to me; it's a part of who I am. I'm eager to continue exploring, learning, and developing myself through this sport, while also sharing my knowledge with others.
I want to learn more, make connections with different people who can educate help me develop and grow the sport in my country and community.
Rowing for such a long distance.
I like smiling and laughing a lot and asking too much.
I am good at pretending to understand yet I haven’t by being serious.
