About Me

I am British, born in Guildford, raised in Devon. I came to Africa when I was 18.

I qualified as a guide in SA, in 2004. I have been in the safari industry since then, working mostly on photographic safaris but also in conservation. I started mobile safaris around 12 years ago. I was a one man band for many years but I have now handed over the guiding reins to my team, whilst I manage the company formLusaka. I also run three camps in the Kafue National Park.

Motivations

I admire the vision and adventurous spirit of the Rowzambezi rowing club. It is rare these days to find a group of people, undertaking such epic adventures. I was very proud to be part of the Kafue trip in 2016 and I am very excited about the 2024 Rowzambique adventure.

Worries
